We will post pictures and updates so those who are interested can see what we are up to.

Reading

Our boys are officially obsessed with books and we are thrilled. They like most books but have definite favorites and will let you know half way through one of the less popular titles they are done with that by closing it and say "se acabo" (pronoucned Ya-ca-bow) which is Great Grandma Brown speak for "it's over" or "all done." They will then find the book they want you to read and physically put it in your hand then turn and around assume the official "please read to me position" which is plopped into your lap.

When Peyton turns around and walks backwards he does it so slowly and with such care Jeff and I tease that he needs to have a beep beep sound like a big old truck backing up. Sometimes he sits down and turns around to find he wasn't as close to you or your lap as he thought so he gets up sighs and starts creeping backwards again. It is to die for cute.

When we were touring potential preschools whenever Liam would see a book he liked he would pick it up and take it up to whatever teacher or anyone he could find and insist they read to him. We like having family over because the boys will take their favorite book from person to person making each person read it to them.

Jeff fell asleep on the couch one morning when he was out in the living room with the boys and I guess Liam was trying to get him to read a book but of course sleeping Jeff was unresponsive so Liam went and found the biggest book we have clobbered Jeff over the head with it and when Jeff woke up all confused he then put the book in Jeff's hand and asked him to read it :)

Daddy with another Favorite - The Foot Book

We had very rare cold rainy weather this June. To entertain the boys inside we made a fort and they read under it.
