4th of July Weekend

We had a non-traditional 4th of July this year since Jeff had to head to London for work for two weeks. Instead of having a big BBQ we took Jeff to SFO. We managed to have lots of fun over the weekend though before Daddy had to leave. On Saturday we celebrated the second half of Father's Day...as seen in a previous post.

On Sunday it was super hot in Walnut Creek so we headed to Great Grandma Brown's house and took the boys to play at a park right on the Bay with a nice breeze. By the late afternoon it was even hot by the water so we all went for ice cream.

Monday was another scorcher so we took the boys to an indoor play area to burn off some energy before the car ride to the airport. They had a great time and it was nice to get some good family fun in before Daddy had to go on his trip.
