Camping

We decided it was time to try camping with the boys. Pre-kids we used to go several times a year but we hadn't been since we had them.

We decided to ease our way into roughing it by staying at KAO that had lots of activities for kids. Are other brilliant idea was talking Grandma into coming with us especially since I was about 6 months pregnant :)

The KAO was interesting, they had a train, playground, bounce pad, etc... so the boys loved it but the actual camping spots were so small and close to each other it took some getting used to.

Jeff bought the boys each their own real sleeping bag

 

We also got them Thomas the Train flashlights for the trip which they loved

Yay for Grandma, it was so nice having an extra set of hands on the trip

Peyton never had an actual s'more he just kept stealing the chocolate off the graham crackers

Of all the activities at the campground playing in Grandma's truck was still their favorite

The train was also very popular

 

Daddy rented a bike so he could take them on rides

The boys had fun telling Daddy to go fast :)

 

The boys loved the bounce pad

Liam is so small that when the big kids would jump or run by he would get launched into the air. Thankfully he loved it.
