OMG...can you believe it?? We can't. It is strange how on one hand the year has flown by and on the other hand we have basically forgotten what life was like before them.
We celebrated their birthday with a Monkey party, which is no surprise since I love monkeys. I have to get the cute birthdays in before they have a say and only want super heros and monsters or something :)
The party was so much fun, it was great celebrating with so many friends and family. P & L skipped their nap to stay up and show off for everyone.
We are still so amazed by everything they do. Both of them are officially walking. Liam says a few more real words than Peyton but P talks a lot more like he is having a conversation in baby babble. They both "sing" in the car to the radio which I think is hilarious.
Liam still has eight teeth, though we think more are close. Peyton has four teeth but number 5 and 6 are so close and he is not happy about it.
They love clapping at everything and occasionally we can get them to wave. Peyton LOVES to dance it is a cute little up and down motion paired with head shaking. In fact he loves music so much we got him his own MP3 player for his birthday.
Liam loves to do "Up" which looks a lot like "touchdown." He has also just started to blow kisses and even says Muah when he does it. He loves the laptop he got for his birthday...I think he wants to pretend he is programming on the computer like Daddy.
They both now hold our phones (or sometimes the remote) up to their ear and talk...it is pretty cute and one of those things you don't realize they are watching you do until they imitate you.
I call them both my little racoons because they get into and figure out EVERYTHING :)
For their birthday today we took cupcakes to all the nurses in the NICU...we are still so grateful for the care they received when they were little and fragile and thrilled that they are now so healthy and happy.
