Based on my knowledge of the boys here are some likely places the battery went:
- Down the toilet - oh how the boys love to flush
- In a trash can - they think they are being very helpful when they throw stuff away
- Maybe even in the dishwasher since Liam can now open it even when it is locked (grrrrr)
Some other highlights from the boys this month:
Right now their favorite books are Rainforest Colors and The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss
They are definitely brothers, one minute they are SO adorable, giving each other kisses and sharing by handing each other toys or their lovie blankets and other times out of nowhere they are wrestling or their new favorite pushing/shoving each other. They definitely cover both extremes, luckily the sweet times far outweigh the crazy times.
Peyton is still a bit more vocal but definitely has some quirks, he calls himself Elmo from time to time which is pretty funny. He is also starting to figure out that not all animals are Mo, he can say and identify ducks and cats. He says ball and also says Liam.
Liam LOVES saying "no no no" to Peyton and it is really funny because he does it in perfect context when Peyton is doing something he shouldn't or just something Liam thinks is wrong. Liam loves dunking basketballs in the net we have for him in the bathtub but sometimes Peyton will put stuff through the net that isn't the ball (like his toothbrush) and Liam points and sternly gives him a "no no no." Liam is still into giving long winded speeches (with full hand gestures like a politician) but he does it in baby babble mostly with just a real word or two thrown in the mix. Liam's climbing skills are off the charts, he may be small but I swear if there was a percentile chart for climbing he would be in 99- 100% range for sure!
They are doing much better with plates and utensils now. Peyton is still our big eater and will chow on just about anything. We haven't found really anything yet he doesn't like. Liam's go to food right now is strawberries, he could eat his body weight in them. We are also now giving Liam one Pediasure Shake a day at snack time and he loves them. He will down anything you give him with a straw so we are trying to get extra calories in him.
